Weekend Roundup

Pretty slow news weekend. Watched Meet the Press and saw Sen. Bill Frist's interview. Anyone else who watched it, did he not seem a bit defensive and at a loss for words at a time? Maybe it was just me.

Only story that really jumped out at me was one on James E. Hansen, a climate expert at NASA. He claims that NASA, and more specifically, the Bush administration censored his research on global warming.
The scientist, James E. Hansen, longtime director of the agency's Goddard Institute for Space Studies, said in an interview that officials at NASA headquarters had ordered the public affairs staff to review his coming lectures, papers, postings on the Goddard Web site and requests for interviews from journalists.
In basketball roundup, Troy lost again, this time to Denver on the road, 69-61. Next game, again on the road in-conference at Arkansas State on Wednesday. It seems like the momentum from the big win vs. Western Kentucky.

Duke is back on a roll, beating up on Virginia at home 82-63. The Georgetown loss doesn't seem to be having any kind of long-term effect on the team. Next up, at Boston College on Wednesday, 8 PM on ESPN.
